The Stone Lodge is always a good time. Whenever we have guest come over, we head for the Lodge because I know the menu will have something for everyone. The pizza is fantastic!

I do love the atmosphere. The staff is friendly and accomodating but I fear there is not enough of it as service is very slow. The restuarant does not take reservations for parties under 5 so you wait up to an hour some times just for a table. If you aren't in a hurry, then enjoy the food (which is so so) but mostly conversation and atmosphere. The bar is well ran but too small and hard to get a drink as it is so busy.
My friends & I go a couple of times a month as we like their Perch. The fireplace is quite nice and I love the rustic yet warm decor.

Every time I go into the Stone Lodge the food is great, the staff-wonderful, it is so clean, warm, and friendly. I absolutely love what the owners have done to the place. When out-of-town friends stop over, this is the place they want to eat at. Anyone passing through Port Sanilac that is thirsty for a nice cold beer at a bar, or in the mood for a warm, relaxing dinner by a fireplace-this is the place you need to visit.

I would give it no stars, but it was not an option..Slow, rude, help., but being in the restaurant business for 35 years, I know that when you have bad management, your employees are a reflection of you.Management are NOT out there to make sure everything is fine, crappy food, lousy canned veggies, lousy greasy fries, salad bar has only a couple of cheap ingredients in it , no bread with meal, high priced< smoky.

The Stone Lodge is amazaing! GREAT food, I recomend the chicken marsella. Great staff and the owners are always around to ensure your visit is just right. WE LOVE THIS BAR!!!!!

The stuffed clams are super - especially with the lobster sauce! They make the best burgers anywhere in the "Thumb". Veggies tend to be too generic and an ear of corn in summer is messy for women to eat! They need to reserve the corn for the guys. Nice country atmosphere & friendly waitresses. As a local business owner I generally recommend this place to my tourist/customers. I would take my guests here any day. Try it!

The Stone Lodge is a great place. It has a cozy home-like feel. in the winter they have the fireplace going, and in the summer they have the AC just right. The staff treats you like family and is very courteous. the bar isn't a smokefest either. they do a very good job of keeping it ventilated. It is as if someone crammed a restaurant 5 times bigger into this tiny place. and with the beautiful addition of the new smoke free dining room with cathedral-like ceilings and gas fireplace, there is just a perfect atmosphere of comfort and relaxation. i have been reviewing and judging restaurants in Michigan for nearly 40 years, and i believe this may be one of the best that i have ever had the priviledge to sit and eat in. My advice, visit the Stone Lodge, you wont regret it.
