This restaurant has captured my heart with its amazing and delicious food, along with the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the owners and staff. The beautifully detailed design adds to the experience, making every visit enjoyable. From the generous portions to the incredible variety on the menu, including standout dishes like Mandarin beef and crab rangoons, I always leave satisfied and eager to return.

The chicken fried rice was so greasy I could not even eat it. I don't know what happened to the egg drop soup it was horrible. I will never order from there again.

review_stars 01/31/2020 - I still love their food even under new management
I thought that I would be disappointed when they sold. But the new owners are very good also. They are also very nice. I will continue eating at Hunans as I did before. I do miss the old owners because I knew Karen and really liked her. But things change.

We went there at least once every 2 weeks or so before it was sold. New Management raised the prices and the quality is nowhere near as good. We most likely will not go back - we'll go to Panda House or Jade Garden instead.

Under New Management. So sad. Absolutely not the same restaurant Not the same dishes. Almond Chicken did not have any almonds. Waitress finally came back when meal was finished. Asked if dish was actual Almond Chicken. She insisted it was. There were no almonds to be found. Waitress asked if I wanted a handful of almonds. Meal was completed why would I want a handful of almonds. One diner asked for steamed rice the other for fried. These were switched so using her hand and the saucer from the soup (too small) she scooped the steamed from one dish then had the patron scrape the fried onto the plate she removed the steam from. She dropped most onto the table or the patrons lap. What a fiasco. I may give them another try but it will be some time before I go back.

Under new management 2018. Not the same as 40+ years of excellence. Beef dishes are now horrible. Too many cut backs on quality including the cook. One would think that new management would learn that people expect the same quality and same menu of a long successful business. Won't be going back.

As far as we are concerned, this is the ONLY Chinese restaurant to go to. The food is wonderfully seasoned, the staff super friendly, they are reasonably priced and serve such large portions, I can usually eat off my dinner order for two more meals. They have the world's best Hot & Sour soup as well as the General's Chicken.....yummy. Go there often and never tire of the food.
