My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous lunch yesterday, with a delicious French dip and perch dinner that hit the spot. The restaurant was beautifully set up for a wedding, adding to the magical atmosphere, and I was impressed by the friendly staff who ensured everything ran smoothly. Despite a bit of a wait for food, the flavors were worth it, and we can't wait to return for more tasty meals in the future.

I love this restaurant and I'm very grateful for their wonderful staff. They're always available for parties and they are dependable when setting up and taking orders. Best of all. the food is wonderful, especially the lobster spread.

Compliments to Pam and the Chef. Great Steak and Asparagus cooked to perfection plus a Great Bartender Pam that stayed on top of the drinks and Perfect Steak.

Great food, slow due to lack of staff. What's new? Waiter was very good and tried to push the kitchen. But no ones fault. We didn't mind being patient

We stopped in at the AuSable Inn today for a bit of lunch after the marathon canoe race. The first thing we found out was that a breakfast buffet was the only choice we had. We gave it a try. It was horrid. Powdered eggs that tasted like salted paste, biscuits and gravy, and a couple meat choices. It was very limited and very awful. The service was fair. They were mostly interested in taking away the dirty dishes and getting us the bill. If these folks don't try harder they will be going out of business again. I won't go back there.

I don't like to write bad reviews but I just didn't have any choice with this one. We waited a very long time for our food to be served. When we finally asked why the food was taking so long. this one blonde lady with a nasty attitude actually yelled at us! We were appalled (party of four). She also made sure we knew that she is the owner's wife! Poor guy, I feel sorry for him. Needless to say, we walked out and WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!

We took our family of 9 from out of State to your Resturant for a nice meal . We were shocked with the sad sad meal. First we all had soup with our meals Terrible had no taste did not bring crackers or even offer them. Next brought our meals not one of them was how we asked for it. Their was no glaric bread or anthing that came with meals. So unhappy with this place way over priced for what you get. Menu very limited WILL NEVER GO BACK OR TELL ANYONE TO GO THEIR THEY WILL NEVER MAKE IT HERE IN OSCODA.

First time and last time. Ordered the brisket, was dry and chewy, tasted terrible, potatoes had way too much pepper, veggies were awful. Waitress came back after35 minutes, asked if all was ok, told her it was horrible. No apology nothing. She took my plate, saw her talking to the manager. Came back after another 15 minutes with the bill, didn't say a darn thing to me. Nothing was taken off the bill, no manager coming to the table, nothing. I had one bite of the brisket and one of the potatoes. Won't ever go there again. CRAPPY FOOD AND CRAPPY SERVICE!!!!

Great food. I eat there every time I'm passing through Oscoda. Gee, I feel bad for the folks who don't like the fact that they run out of things on the menu, but hey, your a long way from the distributioin center and the earlier customers beat you to the good stuff. Also, if your in Northern Michigan think friendly not "refined". You folks are welcome to visit the North, but don't ask us to change to what you find in the big city. We like it this way.

We were stationed at Wurtsmith AFB 45yrs ago and took a trip back to memory lane. The Perch dinner was outstanding. We still talk about it. We come from NJ. Would love to have them send us the fresh Perch to freeze.

We visited about noon Sunday and the kids were just $1.99 for the Sunday Brunch, which was incredible! Just a ton of options and really good food. I couldn't stop picking off their plate. I had their award winning pepper jack chicken soup. It was also very good. Hubby loved his burger. We'll be back!!

Does this place serve food? They were out of EVERY item that even sounded worth ordering. We were encouraged to stay for the nightclub later in the evening. That was a joke. The place was filled withwild kids. We should've been forewarned when we saw a group of thug looking "bouncers" controlling the fights. This place is not for the refined crowd. We had a much better dining experience at a cozy place called "Tates".

Food was OK when I finally found something they they were not out of. The service was something to be desired, young inatentive servers that have no attention to detail when you asked for something. They made us feel that we were putting them out. Beautiful view of the Ausable river, the only thing that made the dinning experiance! I would not return there.
