When my wife and I crave a fish dinner on Friday this is the place to go. All the staff are awesome and make you feel right at home. We make The Barn Door our go to place for fish and burgers.

We just happened upon this restaurant as we traveled back home to the Grand Rapids area. Wow. We struck gold! The food was phenomenal and the service was fast and friendly. Our server recommended the turkey sandwich on a pretzel roll. It was the best turkey sandwich I have ever eaten. Bob had a wrap that he raved about. “The best bar food he has ever eaten” and the fries were fresh and hot. I hope we pass through this way again some day!

I have been going to this bar since I was 18 and the best thing that happened to that place is Mike and Cathy. Food is amazing and the staff is like family.. Love love the Charm City burger!!!

Love the fact that I don't have to drive all the way to town for a great selection of craft beer! Cathy has done a terrific job of incorporating the biggest growing business in the nation...craft beer brewing! Seven selections on draft and I'm sure there were more than 20 bottles to choose from!

Try one of the craft beers with Cathy's homemade hot sauce or her Cherry Bomb...to die for! But you better like heat!

WOW! What a wonderful experience! My husband and I recently moved to the area and last night was the first time here. From the food to the atmosphere to the simple decor WE LOVE IT! Really? Tuesday is two for Tuesday 2 burgers and 2 fries for only 10 bucks! And the burgers were just amazing! And not just some simple shoe string fries they were steak fries! We also tried the chili, now if you want a good warm up her chili will do the trick sweet and spicey it was to die for. The owner was more than friendly and even let me sample the chili before we ordered it. Gave us a menu to take home with us for future orders ( which we will do) I say if you're in the area, this place may not be big and fancy but it is a definate must try.

From Mike's bloody mary's w/ marinated pickles to pretty much the best bar food for MILES around, the Barn Door is worth the stop. Someone get this place on Diner's Drive-Ins and Dives already!! Down home feeling where they will come to love you like family if you stick around long enough. With their food, you will crave it, want it, slap your ...well you get the picture. Mike & Kathy's Barn Door rocks.

I had the Barn Door burger and my wife had Cathy's hot wings! Talk about GREAT! I really like the fact that they incorporate local businesses to enhance their food and beverage menus. The hamburger buns from Robaires and the many Mount Pleasant Brewery beers they carry is amazing. You can tell it is a family-run business because they welcome you as if you are family. GREAT JOB and we obviously recommend this restaurant as a MUST STOP! Great prices, great service, great food!!
