After returning to El Burrito Express on Taraval for the first time since early 2020, I was pleasantly surprised by the calm atmosphere, affordable prices, generous portions, fresh made-to-order food, excellent service from longtime staff, and especially their flavorful burritos like the El Expresso with its savory red sauce and salsa verde pork, making it one of the best Mexican eateries in the city with great vegetarian options and consistent quality that keeps me coming back regularly despite some ordering line chaos.

LOVE this place. And so does everyone else I introduce it to. CASH only- wish they would change that to accept Cards, but the food is consistent every time. Freshly made when you call in and order.
