NEVER again, had simple nothing special breakfast and when I got the bill I nearly died. 34.00 for that. I do NOT recommend this place when there are so many good places to eat in Hastings.

Dinner was nothing memorable! The locals said it was great - maybe it is if you've never eaten outside of Hastings! Everything there was basically stuff you could buy at Costco/Sams frozen and deep fry it. Very tacky decorations.

Whenever I am in Hastings, I have breakfast at Mills Landing. This little place is clean, cozy, and friendly. The breakfast menu has a wide selection to choose from. The staff will remember how you like your coffee by about your second or third visit. The price is very reasonable. Besides, the restaurant is only three easily walked blocks from the motel.
If you can't tell, I really like this place.

My sister and brother-in-law took me out to their "favorite breakfast place" for my birthday weekend brunch and WOW, I couldn't stop raving. The Irish omelet and loaded hash browns were fantastic, and even the "two egg size" was very large and I had enough for a breakfast reprise the following morning. I was wishing I could get some carryouts to take back home, but will definitely be making it a regular breakfast stop for ever after. It will be worth the hour drive to visit again soon, at least for breakfast.

Mills Landing in Hastings, MI is probably the best kept secret in Western Michigan. It is small town atmosphere with great food and prices. All you can eat crab, shrimp, and chicken fingers for under $30.00. Myself and a good friend of mine frequently visit Mills Landing at least once a month. My friend travels from Grand Rapids and I travel all the way from Lansing just to have the all you can eat crab. The crab is the best bang for your buck and it is never dry, but always juicy with the right amount of salt added to the water the crab is boiled in. What is best about the restaurant is that they have decor for every season and holiday. The last time I was there they had Easter eggs and bunnies hanging from the walls and even the ceiling. It is a great place to take your family or one of your best friends to have an all you can eat crab contest! My best is 5 plates plus french fries and rolls. The fries are second to none as well. I recommend this establishment and I will see you there on Thursdays at least once a month.
