We went to dinner there on 29th of November. DISGUSTING FILTHY! The hostess helped our server with carrying trays of food, however her long brown hair that was not tied back was dragged across all the tray of food she was carrying, it was wonderful to find a big long brown hair across my meal. When going to the restroom you get to walk between the kitchen and the bar, all the open food that anyone could have done anything to. The filth of this place is worse than any greasy dive place ever. $4.75 a weak drink that is in a short rocks glass maybe 6 oz. total. This restaurant many many years ago was the classiest joint as The Red Brick Inn, of course those days are long past.
Sam's use to run a tight ship, the manager at the Plainwell Sam's should be fired, I have never seen servers stand around doing nothing where they could be cleaning or something. The manager here still runs the dumpiest restaurant around; the health department needs to shut this place.

I have thrown several parties at restaurants, and Sam's was a good as any of them. Nearly 100 guests were fed promptly, the staff were friendly and efficient, and everyone enjoyed the food.
The kids really enjoyed touring the place, with all its quirky decorations.
My wife and I eat at Sam's monthly, and the service and food are usually very good.
