got hamburger basket to go. buns were stale and hard. pretty much ruined the whole meal

Bud's never fails us. The food is always great. The service can be a bit slow but it's always worth the wait. The wait staff has always been very friendly. I suggest you come around 4:30 and you'll have a great quiet atomsphere and unbeatable food. It's a really cute quaint place inside and very small town, with an entrance off the front and off the back that does pass by the dumpsters, but it's clean, never smells, and really...it's a small town bar, what do you expect, that's what gives it its charm. The prices are right too. I recommend their salads or one of their burgers...especially the blue cheese burger. It's old fashioned cooking you can't find anymore. We can always expect a good value for our money. As far as the cooks smoking outside, they gotta smoke somewhere don't they? It doesn't offend me that they take a smoke break...and I'm not a smoker.

Service is slow wait staff talks and complains about customers way to loud kitchen staff I can here plain as day while im eating swearing and talking about customers. They need a hell of a better manager. I wouldnt be suprised to see that bar close, when you park in the back, walk towards the door you can smell the septic tank over flowing into the parking lot towards the road, workers smoking on the back stairs and smell really bad when they come back in to serve customers. The back so called patio, ive helped people that fell and got broken glass in there hands or arms. JUST DONT EAT THERE PERIOD.......

I am from Wisconsin, and one thing I sure miss is the deep fried WISCONSIN cheese curds.No one around here sells these or has even heard of them before. Culvers has something like it, but believe me NOT THE SAME!!! Buds Bar has them now, and I pray they keep them on there menu!!!!! So if you want to experience one of the BEST TASTING fried things ever, then get down to BUDS BAR for the deep fried WISCONSIN cheese curds!!!! Keep up the Great work Buds Bar!!!! Thanks for taking me home to Wisconsin without even leaving Schoolcraft!! Connie......

The bartenders are awesome and I've never eaten a better chicken quesidilla in my life, and I've been to a million Mexican restaurants this out beats them all! I LOVE THIS BAR!

I will admit, if you go through the parking lot enternce you will pass-by the dumpster and "emplyee lounge" and yes most cooks are smokers. They can't smoke insde, hell neither can I Everytime I've called for a takeout order it has been hot and fresh! It's a bar! It's the f-ing name of the place. Try calling ahead next time and I bet they will be too busy cooking your food to be on a smoke break.

Very poor service! Takes FOREVER to get your food! When you do get it, it isn't even warm!

Prices aren't bad at all - but the food is never consistent. I stopped eating there.

Not clean at all! When you walk in, you can see the cooks outside smoking. While walking in, you see boxes and trash all over the place outside, and the food handlers standing around smoking! Very unprofessional! They need to get some management in there...and clean the place up! Pure D TRASH!!!

Go across the street to Schnauzzers or to Up In Smoke. Bud's sucks!
