worst place to ever be given service. "Some" of their food may be good, but don't be fooled. From the outside looking in, yes it is a nice small authentic Italian restaurant. But when it comes down to the truth of Stromboli's their service and care for the customers is horrible. The timing for orders is never accurate. And the attitudes of the staff there is ridiculous. i would not recommend a place like this to anyone i know. and i personally LOVE Italian food.

Horrible service. Called in an order and was going to take 45 mins. When I got there to pick up food it still took another 30 mins. They acted like I should be ok with it cause they were busy. Food was cold and nasty. Don't bother.

I have been eating here for year's. The pricing is compatible to any Italian Bistro were the food is (Homemade). Yes, we can eat for less down the street, were mind you, the food is processed and prepared by a cook and not a family of Culinary Chef's. As it takes time to make homemade at home, it would be expected also in such a small establishment. Homemade means time to talk with family and relax, not eat and rush. The food is exceptional and my family can overlook the wait time. This place is great.

Food is amazing.... Stromboli's are worth the $. Have ate here 5 times and always great food. Wish we had one in muskegon!

I have NEVER had a bad meal there and always take some home. It is all home made...no PRESERVATIVES! The chef is a culinary expert!

Strombolis are fabulous (LOVE the steak and cheese one) and the pastas are good too. Pizza's are just o.k. (not enough cheese)

Service, however, is not good at all. Wait times are ridiculous (30+ min every time I've been there from placing my order to food hitting the table) and one waitress in particular gets awfully snippy and acts like you're lucky just to be there. Even when I order take-out they tell me how long it will be and when I get there to pick it up I've ALWAYS had to wait another 10+ minutes --what a pain. Expecially annoying when the wait staff are just sitting around. Ordered take-out one time and when I picked it up I tried to pay with my debit card. They only have 1 phone line and one young waitress was on the phone on a personal call and even though she knew I was waiting for the phone line to free up so I could pay she just walked around the back of the kitchen to finish her call and made me wait approx 2-3 min before she hung up. It's a real shame b/c the food is good but it's not really worth the crappy service or wait times. I know go down the street to Peppinos Italian Restaraunt; the food is still good but they actually act like they want my business and the wait times are more in line with what I consider acceptable.

The food is fantastic. Seriously, it's easily the best stuff you can get in Allendale.

However, it's rather expensive. You're going to be spending bare minimum $13 per person when just down the road you can spend $7 or $8. The service is pretty sub par too. I have eaten here several times and even when the place is empty it will take half hour to 45 minutes to get your food after ordering and a "quick" dinner here has taken me two hours before. Also, the waitress will have the audacity to ask where her tip is if she doesn't see it immediately.

Excellent food. May take 4-5 minutes longer to be served, but only fresh ingredients are used. It's a huge favorite for the whole family and neighborhood. By far, the best pizza in Allendale. Great take-out menu too....

GREAT FOOD! This place is awesome! Go in during the weekday right around 11:45/noon to get fresh out of the oven pastas, pizzas, strombolis and salads. If you go near the end of buffet, order off the menu so that you get the best food possible. Especially if you're a 1st timer!

Ask for specials because the cooks are always making something up, even if it isn't posted anywhere.

Friday or Saturday night, get your order to go and always give yourself an extra 5 minutes because I usually wait, but the food is SOOO good that it is worth it.

If price is an issue- it shouldn't be because they dedicate everything into the QUALITY of their food. If you want a $5 pizza (that SUCKS!)- go to little ceasars, but if you want a great pizza after a long week or just dont feel like cookiing- get Stromboli's. The family will LOVE it...and you wont have to worry about leftovers because there won't be any.

Servers are okay, the place gets to busy that there isn't enough staff, but if you're patient enough to wait for the best food in town- take the time because it is worth it!!!
