It was mine and my husbands first time to Ludington. Beautiful town. Stopped in at Michael's Bar and Grille for lunch. Not very busy. Very friendly bartender. We ordered the Broasted Chicken and Grilled Reuben. Our food was amazing. It came out quick. It was also happy hour. Very good deals on their beers. A nice variety on tap. We loved it so much, we came back for dinner later that week. Busy dinner hour. Our waitress was very friendly. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Food took a little longer this time. But it was busy. We ordered a Stuffed Burger and Pineapple BBQ Salad. We were very impressed. Jukebox was a little loud, as was the bar crowd, but still was a pleasant dining experience. It shocks me to read the negative reviews about this place, because our experience was nothing less than great. We will definitely be stopping in next time we visit Ludington.

I live in ludington and have my entire life. Michaels has great food.... if you ever get it. The service is Horrendous, we waited for over an hour for our food and the place was nearly empty. We say the waitress three times in that hour, twice from across the room and once when we flagged her down to inquire about our food. I was just about to get up and leave when it finally came, no apology from the waitress or even an explanation of why it took so long. And this isn't a fluke. Every time I've been, there has been awful service. Ordered a pizza for take out once. They told me it would be twenty minutes, thirty minutes later i stopped to pick it up, FOURTYFIVE minutes later I got my pizza. Heard MANY other locals with similar experiences.

Love, love, love Michaels Bar & Grill. The food is great, especially the best prime rib we ever ate. The owner, Sue was wonderful to us and made us feel very welcome. She has always conducted herself in a professional manner when we have gone there. The atmosphere is great and very nice sports bar feel. I would definately recommend it!!!!!!

I love their prime rib specials on Saterday's and Fish Fry on Fridays! HUGE portions and excellent quality food and service. My family eats here at least a couple times a month and have never had any problems or been offended in any way (as previous post's say they have). Would recommend this resturant to anyone
