I have Never had anything that was less then perfect here. If it wasn't cooked entirely to my liking they gladly took it back and came back to me with it just how i wanted it. they have a great staff and everything on the menu is amazing.

Reading the prior review, I had to write. We have always enjoyed eating at the Golden Inn and found the food to be good to great. The steak I had there was one of the best-seasoned steaks I've ever eaten. Lunches are good as well. We have had some slow wait times for service but generally service has been friendly and good. I recommend this restaurant to friends and relatives.

so we went to the golden inn for dinner and i wasnt very hungry so i ordered the "potato scoops". the description was: potato slices with cheese and chili and whatever else you want - i ordered bacon and no chili. so when the food came i was surprised to get a HUGE platter of fries covered in cheese that was dry and wasnt even very melted. they expected me to eat it for my whole dinner?!? there wasnt even any bacon!!! they said they were out because another family had ordered them. they should have enough potatos for at LEAST like 10 orders a day. they didnt even give me a warning that there was no more potatos and given me a choice. they even charged us for the scoops when really all i got was 2 sides of fries so we had to tell them we wanted to pay for the fries. also, my husband ordered their ribs and their reputation was really good. turns out the ones we make at home are better (were from texas so we should know) DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS TERRIBLE PLACE even their pickles are bad.
