My husband & I stop to eat at Trailside Restaurant as often as we come to New Era area. Always awesome food and customer services. The desserts are out of this world.
A few days ago, four of my friends and I ventured to New Era Shelby area. We ate lunch which was a homestyle meal and then ordered a piece of pie for dessert. Each of us ordered a different dessert had an overwhelming selection to choose from the list. The pies are the very best. I plan to go back to New Era just called to see if I could order a large pie for one of my friends. Yes, will be ready for pick up tomorrow. By the way, we are from Rockford, Mi.... Thank you, Kathy for representing New Era and the great food you have at your restaurant. Awesome! Highly recommended!

The hash brown omlet (egg free) filled with ham, green peppers, onion and cheese is the only one I've ever come across. It is my favorite.
This is a local place and very friendly. Very reasonably priced.
The pies are terrific.
