The owner called my sister a “pain in the a**” when she asked for ketchup very nicely.

Not following COVID guidelines/rules for restaurants.
Full capacity was filled.

No matter your beliefs, you should want your customers to feel welcomed and safe.

The tables around us were disgusted by the owners “joke” as well. I’m positive it was a sarcastic joke. We found it very offensive to joke like that, especially when you do not know the customer. We had her grab ketchup and one refill. Hardly demanding customers. As a waitress, I was shocked. I would never speak to a customer like that. Especially with small children at the next table over.

We waited 20 minutes for a cappuccino. When I asked to see if the cappuccino was coming she stated they had a large spill they had to take care of. She seems very annoyed to be bothered, which is also apparent on their Facebook when they make excuses for customer concerns.

We also waited one hour for our food.

The food was delicious and it was my favorite breakfast spot. We always took our out of town guests here and bragged about how amazing this brunch spot was. However, we will now be spreading the word about the owners lack of hospitality.

As always I love the food. When we went in the server sprayed the table with a solution and then didn't dry it. She put the place mats down and another waitress took our order. As our lunch progressed I noticed white spots in a spray pattern appear on my friends shirt. I wondered what happened but couldn't figure it out. After our meal, I went outside & my friend asked the cashier if they used bleach in their table cleaner and was told yes but we never spray it on the tables and the women who sprayed it said she did NOT spray it and so we left. My friend's new shirt ruined and my favorite place to eat in Gaylord ruined....

OK, here's the thing...Diana's has always been a favorite of our families...however since they have moved into their new location something changed...the service has become an issue with us. On more than one occasion we've had a bad experience, something that NEVER happened at the smaller, cramped location across the street. For example, two weeks ago right after my husband had a fasting blood draw we were headed out of town for vacation...so we decide get a great breakfast at Diana's to kick off vacation. Sadly we sat there for over 20 minutes watching other who came in after us get waited on and served their meals...we got up and left, I've never done that and ashamed it happened in one of my favorite places. The place wasn't that busy, it was mid-week about 10am and it appeared that there were two waitress on duty, plenty to meet the needs of the customers in there. We couldn't even get their attention to ask someone to take our order...however, the guys in the golf shirts didn't have any problem getting coffee refills or having their order taken. I'm very disappointed. Not saying I won't go back, but their have one chance left and I'll eat someplace else next time....

I think Dave Moody must own a competing restaurant in town, because his review is pure bunk! The food and Service at Diana's is always exceptional.

Very good food. However, we miss some of the staff...Julie.

This is an amazing restaurant! Everything on the menu is made from scratch, always using the freshest vegetables and fruit. Breakfast menus include real butter and genuine maple syrup which is standard fare, you don't pay extra for it. If you want to Wow your family or friends, this is the place.

A fabulous experience every time we have the opportunity to visit Diana's! The quality of the food is excellent. Great service too. You will not be disappointed. Many drive to Gaylord from all over the north.

Drove there yesterday from Traverse City with a friend and enjoyed a great lunch. The food was wonderful and the service even better. The waitress was fun and made our visit more than just about the food. I wish we had gotten her name! We are already planning a trip back with more of our friends.

The food is absolutely wonderful. They have a delicious version of everyday favorites. This restaurant will definitely be a favorite. It is usually busy, but it is worth the wait. Makes sure you try their muffins and quiche.

This place is an absolute joke. The prices are way to high for the average quality food you get. The staff is very rude and they screw up your take out order all the time. It isn't rocket science people it's just taking an order and making sure I get what I ordered! I don't recommend this place to anyone unless you liked what you read.
