WE were at the dam site inn for dinner last night, our first time there. Beautiful restaurant, clean, people laughing & having a great time as tho they were at their own home. We had a table by the window & watched a number of birds, geese, chipmunks. Our server was a young man who was as nice as could be, not over bearing, he explained the menu & brought our drinks right away.We had the chicken dinner they are famous for, it was delicious!!!! Then we split a crembrule, to die for, but a little pricy. Ron was one of the best waiters I have ever seen. We talked a lot before we left, he gave us the information about the owners, when it opened, ect. Def will go back!!

I would rate it a little better than 3 stars. Was not expecting a lot but came away with a bit more. Very easy going and relaxing for dinner, family style. I will be back.

If you're going to eat at the dam site inn you'll soon discover that it's not ELEGANT DINING.
When ordering, please ask as many questions of the waitress regarding your order as you can. There is very little on the menu that is offered with the meal. You have to ask for a separate dinner plate if you're ordering anything but chicken with which to eat the noodles, peas, mashed potatoes, and gravy that comes with most items on the menu. Otherwise, you'll have to cram your sizzling steak platter with these sides.
If you want more hot biscuits, you better ask the waitress or more are not provided. Water, yes, only if you ask and nobody comes along to ask if your food is o.k. or is there anything we can bring you.
So, bring along a few bucks and remember, you gotta ASK for everything.
