Enjoyed a delicious ice cream snack during the summer at a small shack-like building with a view of the bay. The menu offered various fried foods, coney dogs, and ice cream, with the Michigan Pothole and Pirate's Treasure flavors standing out. The staff was friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
04/24/2021 - Favorite Place On the Island
I have been to Beaver Island three times with my family. We love the island and always look forward to Daddy Franks. The whole Island, including Daddy Franks, is like a trip back to my 1970s childhood when I'm there. I feel at home there. Daddy Franks is always friendly and the food is great! My young son loves their hot dogs. I love their breakfasts, their hamburgers, fries, and ice cream. We met the new owner in 2019, and he was very nice. So glad the he purchased Daddy Franks and is keeping it going. Can't wait to visit the island again soon and go to Daddy Franks!
