Growing up, Thompson Pizza has always been a go-to for me, especially during my visits to Chelsea. The pizza is consistently delicious, and I've been a loyal customer for years. Thompson's is a Chelsea staple, and I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm back in town. The Detroit style pizza was a recent favorite of mine, and the staff always provide excellent service to top off the great food.

The manager there was really nice and understanding. Even though I was really flustered she handled the situation extremely well with how busy it was and she should have a five star review.

Unfortunately, the service is another matter. We arrived a little before 6:30 and walked to the outdoor seating. A waitress told us no seats were available but then one table chimed in that they were about to leave so we waited around while they finished paying. Once they were gone we continued to wait for the table to be bussed. After several minutes the waitress took the check from that table but then walked to another to chat. The table remained uncleaned.

It was 7:13 when another guest arrived and the first waitress seated them at the same dirty table we had been waiting 45 minutes for. We never got to sit down to eat and I don’t think we’ll try again.
