Looking for a good value in basic Chinese food? China Chef is the best I've found in the area. Apparently I'm not the only one because a lot of the customers seem to be regulars.
Service is usually friendly, ingredients of good quality, portions are generous and prices reasonable. A decent lunch is ~$5 but I prefer to get a quart of whatever seems interesting and get 2-3 meals out of it.
Obviously the five star rating is not for absolute quality of the food but rather how well China Chef accomplishes their mission, i.e., decent quality food for a fair price.
