The hot and sour soup here stands out with its lighter color, perfect balance of spices, and unique flavor that I haven't found elsewhere. Every dish I've tried is packed with flavor, served fresh and hot, and the generous portions make each meal satisfying and comforting. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere make dining here a consistently enjoyable experience, and I look forward to returning again and again.

The hot and sour soup at Orchid Cafe is unlike any I've had before. It's a lighter shade and less tangy, but the perfect balance of spices makes it stand out. It's my absolute favorite, dating back to when I used to visit their previous location on Rochester Road many years ago. I make a special trip just for a taste of that delicious soup. Their other dishes are just as flavorful and the prices are reasonable. Orchid Cafe remains at the top of my list for Thai restaurants in the metro Detroit area.
