The food and drinks were amazing, especially the Rueben Sandwich that I tried. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, and the service was fantastic - the waitress was very kind and helpful throughout the evening.

By far I am not a person who rates restaurants on Yelp on a Zagat scale. I am a mere foodie who loves to support local community restaurants and businesses when I travel.

At this watering hole if you are not a "regular" you are treated like a transient staying at one of the hotels across the street and your wallet taken advantage of.

Here is our combined opinions on our experience:

-We (4) were seated in the far corner next to a very loud ear-level speaker. Thus, or whole visit was spent yelling at each other. I asked if the speaker could be turned or volume lowered. I WAS LAUGHED AT!
-Most of the food was tasty. Instant mashed potatoes refrigerator cold with gravy sent back and it was a MAJOR task for one of our three waitresses to return. INSTANT Mashed potatoes/gravy came back in same condition. Pathetic!
-Steamed shrimp appetizer was mushy, soft (poorly thawed), black (sh-t) vein not removed, too much Old Bay smothering any kind of taste.
-Noticed one of our waitresses had sat down at the bar and had a drink with a bar patron then later coming back to check on us.
-We received our bill and was overcharged for too many beverages. I went to the bar to discuss the situation. Was ignored by the bartender as our waitresses were nowhere to be found other than the one seated at the bar. Noticed certain patrons seated around her looking at our table laughing.
-Due to the EXTREMELY poor service and a $110+ bill no tip was left (We ALWAYS leave a tip) and wrote "POOREST SERVICE EVER".
-As we were leaving our bar-seated server passed us high five-ing laughing bar patrons (regulars?) as to say they were happy we were leaving.

I get treating your regulars as electric bill paying reliable customers but STOP IGNORING YOUR TRANSIENT CUSTOMERS BY TREATING US SO RUDELY!!!
