Wow what a surprise!!

Had the country fried steak...it was perfect. Everything had exceptional flavor. You can tell whoever prepares this food has been in the kitchen a while. Service was excellent too. I will drive out of my way to come here in the future.

I ate at Jonathans tonight and it was the worst meal I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I had the fish and chips and the grease smelled like it was never changed. The fish was gray and half cooked. The mixed veggies were all broccoli stalk and mushy. I will never eat there again. It was my first time eating dinner there and I won't be going back.

In my opinion, Jonathan's is the best place to eat in Canton. The owner is so kind and welcoming to us every time we eat there. My husband and I are on special diets and he always makes sure we get exactly what we order. The food is fresh (the New York strip steak is my favorite) and the waitstaff is very attentive and cheerful. We have gone there many times over the past few years and have never been disappointed. Breakfasts are the best. It is a hidden gem in my opinion. Look for the Subway restaurant next to McDonald's on Michigan Ave. close to the I-275 exit, and it is in the same stripmall where Subway is located. Affordable, good food, large portions, family atmosphere - a very comfortable dining experience.

Independently owned vs. chain. refreshing to deal on a more personal basis w/a business. Reasonably and competitively priced. Specializing in homemade foods - - homemade soups. I would recommend any soup that they make. Our only stop when looking at a family style restaurant!!!
