I am a loyal vegetarian customer at MG, and today I mistakenly ordered a beef meal instead of beans. But to my surprise, they remade my meal for free, showing exceptional customer service. The food was delicious, the restaurant was immaculate, and the staff, especially Chris and Frank, went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable.

Mexican Gardens has been the place to go to since I was a little kid. The staff there has always been extremely friendly and professional. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere makes this place the best Mexican restaurant Downriver...one of only few that serve REAL Mexican food.

Whoever wrote the other reviews were dead wrong. The food is phenomenal. If you bring the chips and salsa to a party, it's the first thing to go. It's a very fun and relaxed atmosphere. It's a great place to meet up with friends and family to get together and enjoy a wonderful meal. Also, their prices are very reasonable. For years, my parents and I make a point to go there at least once a week. Anybody saying otherwise needs a reality and check. You don't need fancy tables and waiters in suits to make for a good meal. Mexican Gardens can't be beat.

Ive had mexican food before.this place is not a mexican restaurant.Whats with management always flirting around with eachother.dont go there unless you had too many to drink

food was ok,but when we had food in our mouth still the waitress brought over our bill.RUDE.


management was bad also.mexican gardens is a notch above taco bell
