FOOD WAS GREAT. I ORDERED THEY SAY TRIO. MY SERVER JASMINE STARTED OFF GREAT ENDED UP GETTING TERRIBLE SERVICE IN THE END.

On a slow Saturday afternoon (March 7), two friends and I stopped in. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. All the food we ordered was very good (beef briscuit sandwich with french fries; chicken quesadillas with salsa and sour cream; sweet potato fries; coconut shrimp). Nothing undesirable in the group. We wanted a dessert of red velvet cheesecake, but they didn't have any. Instead, a huge, huge piece of red velvet cake. Absolutely delightful and tasty; perhaps a minor bit dry.

All in all a great meal for three of us. We will go back soon (even though two of us live an hour away).

The workers are not personable at all!!! The service was horrible, terrible, and nonexistent since we were not allowed to order at the club section upstairs, because it was crowded downstairs. The DJ started playing crazier music at 12:45am, and thanked us for coming out...the people just started leaving. Then he says oh we are not closed yet??? I would not go again for a party (EVER)!!!! Maybe owner needs to stick to the restaurant business or be more hands on.
Not Recommended for Parties!!!!!!!!

The poetry event on Thursday, July 23rd was amazing! It was a delightful combo of food and entertainment like I have never experienced before. If you want a stimulation of the mind and your pallet in an affordable price range this is it. I was interested in trying this place, but not excited. It had exceeded my expectations. I will be back.

Terrible service. We had a 7pm reservation, people arrived at 6:30pm (a group of 8, 6 were there by 7:15pm) and at 8pm we still had not been seated. The hostess told us, "well, other people came in so we seated them!" Well what's the point of a reservation??? The owner was apparently there, but rather than identify himself, he quietly left to avoid answering any questions about customer service. Extremely unprofessional. The only thing I can say is that the waitress was an innocent in this (as well as the cooking staff), management is completely at fault here.
