I grew up in New York City and I have a deep love for pizza and classic Italian sandwiches. Dan & Vi's Deli Slice is a small, fast-paced spot with a variety of delicious food at low prices that will have you coming back for more. The deli slice with double meat and cheese is a must-try and the quick service makes it a great spot for a satisfying lunch.

This place has the best Deli Pizza I have ever eaten. Also,their other foods(pizza,subs etc...) are outstanding. I sure hope this place NEVER goes out of business because it would be a void, that most likely, could never be filled.

My uncle worked there and my nephew. Nepotism aside they have the best Italian sub, I have ever had. I used to live on Jos Campau and have since been around the world. They have a flavor you can't get from mass produced and franchised shops. I live outside Detroit now but when I visit I make it a point to try and get there. I order their food and ship it to my brothers in Texas and Alaska... It has a taste that will remind you of Detroit from years back. Make sure you try the Italian sub with double meat, a Vernors and a bag of Better Made chips...

Chicken wings are always seasoned right with buffalo sauce as a free optional condiment.

This is the only place that I know that makes or sells a deli pizza, which is extremely tasty. The service is very quick,they get you in and out so you can enjoy your lunch time. The prices for the food is quite reasonable. Opened Monday thru Saturday.
