Tokyo Express has long been a reliable spot for flavorful Japanese dishes, with fresh ingredients and quick service that never disappoint. Their chicken udon stands out, featuring grilled chicken that adds a smoky depth to the broth, while the sushi showcases a delicate balance with less rice and expertly sliced fish. Though portions lean toward the modest side, the combination of reasonable prices, welcoming staff, and consistent quality keeps me coming back time and again.

Tokyo Express used to be bustling with customers during lunchtime in the early 2010's but has since seen a decline in business, with only a few tables occupied during my recent visit, where I found the tonkatsu to be a bit dry and lacking the traditional cabbage accompaniment, yet the service was efficient and the prices reasonable.
