It's bases on your on attitude. The light skin girl at the counter is what keeps me & my family coming back beside the scrumptious food!!! I so miss the Mason Jars they use to serve Kool Aid in. They also have a older Black Woman who really makes the best of everything. Warning: If you have something to do you betta grab a 5 hour after eating there because u will fall asleep for certtain. Catfish & Grits or Smothered PorkChops & Rice are my favs. The Salmon Croquettes with Cheese Eggs & Grits are the bomb also Im headed there now!!!

Today I got a taste of the food served at J's Cafe. A friend of mine, treated me to the Salmon Croquet, hash browns, and scrambled eggs. Man, the food was just like Grandma's! My grandma would cook them for breakfast and it would make your mouth water. J"s grandma must have been in the kitchen. Thank you for the hospitality. GrEaT Southern CoOkInG!

I have been eating at J's cafe for many years and the food is very good with ample portions being given. The service is OK and the waitstaff seems to know their customers. When you go please check out the liver & onions cooked by the older lady who is slammin in the kitchen.

I love this restaurant however, your restaurant is only as good as your customer service. The bi-racial girl at the cash register (also takes orders), is very rude. She is impatient, short and cold. She speaks to the customers any kind of way! It's a shame that when Mr. Jay was running things, this never happened. Since that female has been around, service sucks!!!! The food is still good but the service sucks!!!!! I don't care who she knows or is engaged to (Jay's son), KEEP IT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES! DONT ACT AS IF YOU ARE PRIVILEGED AND THE CUSTOMERS ARE BENEATH YOU!
