I visited the downtown location yesterday for breakfast to celebrate our mom's BDay. What a mess. We were seated in the back, dark, dingy area near the restrooms with no overhead lighting and seating benches filled with junk. The coffee was weak and worse than that out of a vending machine. We had to ask for silverware and napkins and water refills, etc. It took our food for a party of 6 about an hour and a half to arrive. And yes of course, once it arrived it was not hot and some not cooked to order. Then to top it off, the bill was incorrect. DAMN! The gentleman named Perry tried very hard to rectify some of the mess and his kondness is the only thing I have good to say about this place.

The Chicken & Waffle menu is incredibly a good tasting meal. With Some cool whip and strawberr on top. Could be very tremendous tasting meal.

Excellent food I drove alll the way from Ypsilanti for some chicken waffles and I was not at all disappointed. The food was delicious and the waffle was to die for.

The chicken was amazing crispy, hot and seasoned perfectly just the way I like it and that waffle WOW was it delicious. It was so good I almost did not need any syrup it had a sweet vanilla flavor that made me eat more than I could hold. Great place to eat.

I was amazed at the delicious fried chicken and how well it was seasoned without any greasy taste but he waffle "oh my god" it was simply heavenly. It was cooked to order and the aroma took me back to when my mother use to make up hotcakes in the morning.
