Visited Connie & Barbara's for breakfast and while the food was decent, there are areas for improvement in terms of cleanliness and service. Despite the unassuming exterior, the taste and portion sizes of the dishes make up for it. The attentive and friendly staff contribute to the overall dining experience, making it worth a return visit for other meal options as well.

Got a 27.00 carryout today. New York strip was cut in strips.Pancakes tasted awful - small size out of a box. Wheat toast was missing with bland grits. On top of that the cashier tried to take the change! Unbelievable - don't waste your money!

Good breakfast and decent soul food. The salmon croquettes are probably the most popular thing.

Came here a while back with a friend and BOY was the food amazing. I had the salmon and grits and it was DELISH.

Pancakes are small...they charge for take out order 1.50 to pick my food up. charge for 2 set of eggs ask for 1 and .40 to toast my bread..this place a scam..never eatin here again.

I was first taken there on a date and I fell in love. I have been many many times and even though I moved away from the D. 4 years ago. When I come back home for all holidays I have to go there for breakfast. Salmon, grits, eggs, toast...OMG!!
I love, love, love it
