Delightful fish and chips spot with generous portions and friendly service! The fish was perfectly crispy and the fries were homemade and delicious. A must-try for seafood lovers in Halifax.

The absolute best fish and chips in Halifax and huge portions. Friendly staff and the only problem ever encountered is the owner won't share his fish batter recipe! 😅

My wife and son picked up a family pack of fish and chips.at Fries and Co They were delivering 2 pieces of fish from the family pack to a friend who was isolating in a nearby hotel. My wife made a simple request to have two of the pieces placed in a separate package. The owner refused! He tried to justify his uncompromising position on the fact that the family pack was discounted. Cleary a non sequitur and a rationale that could only have meaning to him. When my wife returned home, I called the owner thinking that perhaps that there was some misunderstanding. There was not. He refused to listen, became quite belligerent and hung up on me twice. He could have deescalated the situation but chose not to which says a lot about his personality.I will no longer support an enterprise that demonstrates such an appalling lack of caring for its customers and the community. These are difficult times and for my part I want to support local businesses. I know they are hurting but this one will no longer be on my list. There are other establishments that deserve my patronage. If you feel the same way I do then vote with your feet.
