The Dominion House Tavern, established before 1850, holds the distinction of being the oldest continuously operated tavern in the Windsor-Detroit Border region and one of the most historic in Ontario. Upon reading about its connection to prohibition-era characters in Genevieve Graham's novel "Bluebird," a friend and I, both history enthusiasts, were compelled to experience its rich heritage firsthand. The lively ambiance, welcoming crowd, exceptional musical performance, and delectable food made our visit truly enjoyable, promising a return for more memorable moments at this esteemed establishment.
