On a recent evening in Bayers Lake, Halifax, Nova Scotia, I dined with my favorite girl and her daughter at a cozy restaurant where we enjoyed delicious fish and chips, a messy but tasty henhouse burger, and good company with friendly staff, a great atmosphere, and reasonable prices, making it a spot I look forward to visiting again for predictably great food and service, yummy cocktails, and a fantastic wing night.
