Have been eating at Luckys since they were on Water Street. They have the best Food bar none. Everything about their restaurant earns five stars in my book. And I agree. It's not a fast service take out so your food is always fresh. And I sometimes get a chicken ball with dark meat but never more than one in an order. And while I don't usually eat dark meat I do when it's battered and has sauce. And where can you eat these days that is not expensive. Restaurants suffered thru Covet But I don't think Lucky's raised their prices.

Ordered this for my daughters birthday. Tasteless, little quantity, and dark meat in the Chicken balls. Very disappointed. Worse $160 I ever spent. Will not return.

Have been going to Lucky's ever since they opened on Topsail Road, and before that when they were downtown in the 1970's we always went there. The best Chinese food (especially the egg rolls), in St. John's. The staff are so friendly and accommodating also!! Sue always makes you feel special when you visit.

Lucky's Restaurant is top notch in food, cleanliness and service. We have
gone there for decades and you wait because your food is always freshly prepared
and always hot. Cleanliness is optimum for us and Lucky's fits the bill 100%. Service
is friendly and efficient and very accomodating. This is probably the only restaurant
in the city to whom I would give five stars. I have no personal or business connection to
Lucky's other than being a dedicated and very happy
customer. You pay a little more
but you get a lot more.
