The food options here are fantastic, and the atmosphere gives off a cozy "everyone knows your name" vibe. The staff is mostly friendly, the place is clean, and it's always buzzing with activity - definitely give it a shot! The delicious food and generous portions make it a must-try, with a variety of tasty options to choose from.

Where to start Carol and I were on our way home from Fort Erie and decided to detour to Scuttlebutts for a wee pre dinner snack.As usual this wee gem was as always friendly and the food was great.
I had just ordered our food when a lovely lady approached and asked if I was a "Newfie" I laughed and said it might be my slight Scottish accent that fooled her.We chatted for a bit and we noticed that she was dining alone.I asked if she would like to join us but I think the three of us were talking at once and she didn't hear the invite.She went to her table when her food arrived.
Not too long into her meal a young girl walked over and asked her to join her Mum and twin sister to eat at their table.The lady was happy to do that and went over to spend what from our view was a lovely time with this young family.The girls were soon to be 11 years old and it was a delight eavesdropping and watching them and their Mum so engaged with the lady who was treated like their own Grandma.The girls were a true credit to their Mum.Carol and I had our day made watching this act of pure kindness.
I chatted to our waitress Theresa and she told us the lady had come in for a take out order but Theresa told her to sit and she would keep her company as she waited on other tables.Simply put Theresa's kind invite to dine in cascaded into a moment in time for all involved and warmed our hearts.
Besides the great food this is what is special about Scuttlebutts we will be returning very soon.
I can't guarantee a scene like this will unfold if you dine there that will be up to you to reach out and have a chat you never know what may come your way.
