Average Joe's underwent renovations during the closure and reportedly updated their menu. Despite some challenges in finding the boat slips, the covered patio provided a pleasant dining experience with fresh and flavorful food. The prices may be higher than expected, but the care put into each dish and the scenic views of Trout Lake make Average Joe's a worthwhile dining destination.

Had Thanksgiving Turkey Diner here tonite. $40 a plate. Was not worth $20. Food portion was very small for price. No soup or salad included or coffee/tea. Food was not hot at all. The server was very slow. Forgot to bring us bread. Never saw her after plates were dropped off except when it was time for bill.
Use to be our favourite place to go but not anymore. Very disappointing!

Food and drinks were much better with the old owners. New owners made an arrogant post early in the pandemic as if they are the only ones going through the pandemic. Gave them another chance since. Drinks tasted like an all inclusive Dominican resort which is not good. Sea doo delivery is a total gimmick with food arriving late, soggy and wrong order.
