Wow! what a place. My wife and I arrived at 7:00 and welcomed by a warm and inviting staff that confirmed our reservation. . We were actually given a choice for once of some ice tables. We knew it was a busy Saturday and expected the usual 55 minute max. Instead, we were told that they do not turn and urge people out for the next seating. Giorgio our waiter tok our wine order and brought us their steaming hot homemade Panini bread with a nice artichoke oil and sundried tomatoe blend of scrumptious dipping sauce alongside fresh butter. As we toggled through the menu we enjoyed the live music which began with a nice Tony bennett, Sinatra, and mellow classics. At our leasure we ordered scrumptious garlic shrimp and caesar salad which we shared. Fresh parmesan, pepper and a drop of extra virgin olive oil and lemon wedges offered complimentary. My guest ordered the bacon wrapped filet mignon while I decided to try the authentic Italian side of the menu canelloni. The filet was well...melt in her mouth. My cannelloni came in an Italian ceramic deep scarpetta boat. It was baked properly and had melting mozzarella that was still sizzling upon arrival. Dinner was great and we enjoyed the live music which slowly becomes more lively and fun. We don't usually dance but we couldn't resist joining the busy dance floor. What a night! It turned out to be a real outing. We stayed and had and enjoyed coffee and split a Tira mi su. What a nice change. Usually we reserve a busy table on a saturday and although good we are semi urged to leave by the time my coffee is half finished. We had a real outing and our bill for an Italian fine dining restaurant with great food, service, live music, and we stayed as time flew until 11:30 pm. Our bill was reasonable and for 96 dollars plus gratuity was a real treat. Why didn't I know about this place before?????
