12/31/2012 - Dissapointed eater!
We ordered $60 worth of delivery from Tsunami...it was the worst food We have ever eaten from an Asian restaurant. The House Special Wor Won Ton had nothing in it that I'd consider special, and the broth is salty canned chicken stock. The wontons did not taste homemade, and the shrimp was not deveined. the BBQ pork was not marinated and tasted very bland, with no char marks to suggest it was even bbq'd. There was a sugary sauce squeezed from a plastic bottle on it. The pork kabobs (recommended by the lady on the phone...supposed to be Phillipino style) were also coated with the same bottle squeezed sugar sauce. The seafood Tempura was not fried in light oil and had a thick greasy batter on it. A third of this was some kind of mystery fish that tasted like freezer burnt pollock. The Tobiko (flying fish egg) nigiri sushi was rolled up like maki, but uncut. The Tobiko itself tasted old and soft. The Tekki (tuna) Maki wasn't terrible...but all the rolls were the diameter of a quarter, and falling apart because they were not sealed. The sushi rice tasted funny...hope they aren't using aspartame in it.
This place serves greasy deep fried sugar sauce food with no hint of culinary inspiration. Two light eaters killed $60 easily but were only left with a gut ache and the cheap taste of low quality oil. Luckily they can't screw up a prepackaged Fortune cookie. Very dissapointed.
