Pho Japolo in North Van serves up comforting, flavorful Vietnamese dishes without any fuss, and their crispy tofu and grilled lemongrass chicken submarine are personal favorites. The vintage decor adds a quirky charm, and despite a small parking lot, the fast and friendly service keeps me coming back time and again for hearty bowls of pho and satisfying meals.

Let's talk about this Vietnamese joint in North Van that's like stepping into a time warp. The decor is straight out of a retro movie set - complete with taped air vents and wall-to-wall carpeting that's a mystery to keep clean. The wait staff dance around delivering piping hot bowls of pho with a side of charm. It's a no-frills spot where you can show up in your PJs and still get a bellyful of delicious noodles and broth without breaking the bank - count me in for a return trip!
