I won a door-prize at the Fredericton Playhouse for "two free dinners at Porters Diner". When I picked them up, there were 2 ten dollar gift cards.(why not just say $20 gift card instead of saying it was two free dinners because, in fact, you cannot buy a dinner for ten dollars at Porters. Talk about false advertising.!!) Anyway, I decided to cash them in. My "free" dinners ended up costing me $25.00 plus the gift certificates and we didn't even have dessert! The hot turkey with mashed potatoes that I ordered was barely lukewarm. The mashed potatoes were cold and lumpy, the turkey sandwich was dry, and the gravy so thin it may have been colored water.. It was very disappointing. I will never eat here again.
