Arrived at this charming diner on a bustling weekend morning with a large group in tow, and the accommodating staff quickly arranged a table for us. The expansive layout and ample parking made our dining experience hassle-free, while the friendly server efficiently tended to our sizable party with a smile. The hearty, wallet-friendly dishes, such as the John's Special with eggs, home fries, toast, and choice of meat, left us satisfied and eager to return for more of their comforting, classic Canadian fare.

The fish and chips were so greasy and the coleslaw was rancid. This used to be our favorite restaurant what happened. Whole place needs a good cleaning.

Haven't been there in a year and half and was disappointed again in fish and chips. Last time was after the "renovation" which seemed kind of sketchy at best. Place needs some serious updates and cleaning. The chandeliers have had the same dust on them for the last ten years. Quality of food is declining. Fish was very oily and chips were soft and kind of greasy too. Only coleslaw was still good. Used to go all the time until the fish became overcooked and dry and too greasy and chips were not light and crisp anymore. Will not return for another disappointment.
