I finally tried the Famous Haugen's in Port Perry after seeing it on Food Network's You Gotta Eat Here. The restaurant is much larger than I expected, with an old-school decor that adds to its charm. I ordered the Chicken and Rib Combo with fries, and both the chicken and ribs were juicy and flavorful. The Coconut Creme Pie was a perfect ending to the meal, and my wife loved the loaded Strawberry Pie. The friendly service and fair prices make it a great spot for a family dinner.
