My wife, who grew up in Italy, has discerning tastes for Italian cuisine, and this restaurant exceeded our expectations. The menu featured unique dishes, and we especially enjoyed the grilled octopus and seafood lasagna, both of which were exceptionally well-prepared. The service was attentive, creating a relaxing atmosphere, and we left feeling satisfied with our dining experience.

My wife, a native of Italy, holds Italian restaurants to a high standard, even outside of her home country. La Baia exceeded our expectations with its delicious dishes that showcase Italian flavors. The attentive service and cozy atmosphere made our dining experience truly enjoyable.

My wife and I had the New Years Eve five course dinner. The portions were very small, and did not warrant $249. The flavors were OK.

We order takeout tonight and shared two pastas: The Short Rib Pappardelle and Tagliatelle Gamberi. We did pickup to keep it as fresh as possible. Both pastas were extremely disappointing. Both significantly over sauced (extremely creamy) yet still lacked flavour and complexity. Tagliatelle featured prawns but only came with two. Pappardelle had plenty of short rib but it was flavourless. Highlight was the sparse cherry tomato which provided some freshness and acidity. Another $60 lesson of where not to eat in White Rock
