Good morning owner / manager. Each morning there is a group of us retired lads that meet at your restaurant and have done so for many years. Who knows what the conversations will be and are mostly about sports or trips. Every now and then we find the music so loud we can not hear each other. A request to have it turned down is usually all that is required. This morning I was a few minutes late getting there but as soon as I walked through the door I could hear the music blaring.The half dozen or so that were there said they had asked a few times to have it turned down. I ordered my coffee and asked the male server if the music could be turned down. He just smiled at me and said they have already asked. I got my coffee and sat down with the boys with the music blaring. The guy across the table from me had just returned from the the coast and was trying to tell me about his trip. One of the other fellows who apparently knows the manager got up and went to the counter and once again asked to have it turned down. He came back and told us they were told to keep the music at an even pace. I had only had a sip of my coffee so I went to the counter and asked for a refund. The male server asked if I wanted to speak with his manager and I said yes. A female came forward from the cooking area with a miserable look on her face and yelled at me "what". I said I cant hear what my friends are saying and if your not going to turn the music down I would like my money back. She opened the till and gave me my money back without saying a word.
