I hadn't seen a friend of mine for over 30 years and he and his family would be staying one night only in Kelowna. I suggested Ricky's as I usually have a good experience there. It was July, tourist season. We met at the restaurant at 7 pm. Fortunately his kids had the pasta which looked great - my clubhouse sandwich was badly burned. Then at just before 9 pm the waitress informed us they are about to close. At 9 pm during tourist season with hotels and motels all around the place? I was shocked. We barely had 2 hours to catch up on 30 years. VERY disappointed and EXTREMELY embarrassed. Even the Dairy Queen across the street was still open! I'm still shocked.

Always a great experience.

I met some friends here in early December and had a satisfactory experience with good meals and great service despite the restaurant being very busy. I look forward to visiting again soon.
