This bar has a rich history, with Hemingway as a former patron. Despite its rough edges, the wings and atmosphere keep me coming back.

Arriving at the bar at 11 AM, I was greeted by a crowd indulging in BOWDEN sauce and a distinct air of melancholy, accompanied by the inconvenience of bathroom doors lacking locks. Despite the bartender's oversight on the historical significance of the establishment, the Wheat Sheaf's classic pub fare, warm service, and proximity to live music venues make it a charming spot for a laid-back evening with friends.
