The cozy atmosphere and hearty food at Le Douglas made it our favorite stop after the border crossing, especially the breakfast with fresh eggs and friendly service. It's a good place to start practicing my basic French, although English is spoken. The service was terrific, the menu was good with simple diner food, and I indulged in a delicious croque monsieur served with fruit salad. The older lady who served us was very pleasant, and the decor was nice enough. Clean restrooms and convenient location close to the highway, about 10 minutes to the border.
