We have eaten here a half a dozen times, it is an old school diner with a large menu and very friendly servers. The cook always comes out to check that all was good and is also a chatty friendly guy. If your looking for the Keg go there, but if your looking for good homestyle cooking served up in a friendly small town atmosphere you should give Shakers a try.

We popped in to this unassuming restaurant for lunch. My wife ordered a breakfast and I had the burger. Much to our delight, everything was very very tasty. The bacon and eggs and homefries were delicious and done to perfection, and the banquet burger and fries were homemade and amazingly good.

Being fans of spicy food, we asked for any hot pepper spice, and the chef personally brought out two of his homemade specialties. They were the best spicy hot sauces we have every tasted.

The waitress staff were very friendly and attentive and really added to our enjoyment.

All together, a gem of a location we would heartily recommend. We plan to return to try the rest of the menu.

Good value for your money. I requested a spicey sauce for my chicken and I received a sauce especially for me which was delicious.
