On a Sunday afternoon, my companions and I decided to dine at Clancys in Qidi Vidi after finding out that reservations at other popular places needed to be made well in advance. Due to our impending flight, we couldn't venture downtown but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Seafood Chowder at Clancys, which rivaled some of the best dishes we had during our extensive road trip in Newfoundland. The coconut shrimp and calamari with jalapeño were standout dishes, and the fish and chips with perfectly roasted veggies showcased the attention to detail in their cooking. The service was exceptional, accommodating our tight schedule and ensuring we had ample time to make it to the airport.
