Last night we had dinner (a variety of appys) at our usual go to in Port Coquitlam “Sparta Empire Pizza”and had our usual selection, Calamari Appetizer (which was so Very Very Tender), Spanokopita, Prawns w/Garlic Cream Sauce, Hummus & Pita, and finally Crème Caramel for dessert. O.MG., we found out they had a NEW CHEF and WOW, it was THE BEST EVER! The new Chef is ABSOLUTELY A KEEPER!!

Awesome chicken souvlaki!! The salad dressing for the greek salad is outstanding, and the pizza was unbelievable! If you haven't tried out this pizza you are missing out.
Sparta was recommended to us so we finally decided to try it out. We will definitely be regulars here!

Maria makes the best roast lamb, pizza And pasta in PoCo. We have been customers there for going on twenty years and it’s our favorite greek restaurant in all of The GVRD. Thanks Maria! 👍🏻 See you Saturday (for lamb take out). AND hopefully .... Creme Caramel !!! Save me one pls !!!
