During my recent dining experience at Blaze Restaurant & Lounge in the Delta Winnipeg, I was impressed by the feedback from my companions who enjoyed the blueberry salad and pork tenderloin. The lamb dish I ordered was simply amazing, and although the potato and mushroom soup was good, it didn't quite reach the same level. The presentation of the dishes was truly elevated, resembling that of a fine dining establishment, and our server Von provided exceptional service throughout the meal.

My husband and I had breakfast today. The food was good - delivered in a timely manner. My only disappointment was with our female server who kept using the term YOU GUYS from the moment we arrived until we paid the bill.
Women are not guys - I understand why the word is used. I find being addressed as a guy is rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and not acceptable. She can say "Hi, can I start with coffee for both of you?" instead of "Can I get you guys some coffee?".
Good customer service is treating people with respect and courtesy. I would have given this review 4 stars had the server not said "you guys" throughout the time we were there.
I don't correct staff nor do I say that I don't like being addressed as a guy - that is up to management to address the issue with their staff.
I trust someone will read this and ensure that all staff are aware of how to address women when they are with someone else.
