Since relocating to Barrhaven half a decade ago, my family and I have indulged in Wan's offerings approximately 25 times. The cuisine consistently arrives piping hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Despite the slightly elevated price point, the generous portions ensure we have ample leftovers for the following day's meal. Communication hiccup may arise due to language differences, but exercising patience and speaking clearly will result in satisfactory service. Wan's is a bustling hub in Barrhaven, often teeming with patrons when I swing by for our order. If you savor sizable portions crafted from premium ingredients and are willing to pay a bit more for quality fare, Wan's is a dining destination I wholeheartedly endorse.

Very over priced and unappreciative service

I found the rice dry for the first time in years. Tasteless sort of. Hopefully not a new thing. More expensive now and less taste. That doesn't work for me. I always brag about Wan's. Not much garlic sauce with the ribs and it's all about the sauce. Must be an off night!

I read all the reviews about this place and expected good food. What a letdown. I don't know if these people who wrote the reviews were paid to say these things or friends of the owners. Any way I wouldn't even give it a 1 rating. The shrimp were big balls of dough with a little shrimp inside and red sauce on the side. The general tso chicken were pieces of chicken breaded with a little sauce at the bottom of the dish. Not enough to even cover the large pieces of chicken. Not like any General tso I ever tasted. The rice was very dry with nothing but a few small pieces of beef thrown on top. The specialty chow mien looked impressive with lots of Vegas and pork on top, even a few shrimp but underneath was a glob of overcooked noodles all stuck together and tasted lie a ball of starch. The egg rolls were burnt at the ends and very rubbery. The ginger beef dish, you couldn't"'t chew. All in all a horrible ,very expensive meal that most of it got throw in the garbage. I have lost my faith in reading reviews. Don't waste your money ordering from there.
