Service has improved over the past 3 years, with occasional hit-or-miss food depending on the day, making it a reasonable choice for those comfortable with spending approximately $20 after tax and tip, and as someone who frequents the area twice weekly, it was added to my bucket list on February 27th, boasting unassuming decor within the hotel, a peaceful spot to enjoy an open face steak sandwich and orange cream brulee, while the attentive waitress and buffet-style dining catered well to a work gathering, and their ability to accommodate large groups with advance notice has made it a convenient option for lunch events, with the added bonus of quality wings, well-layered nachos, and unbeatable $5.50 pint specials, especially appealing after a league game close to their 11pm closing time, and offering a renovated lounge and Amex acceptance, Stages at the local Holiday Inn delivers hotel-quality food service to both guests and nearby residents, further highlighted by their participation in Dine Out Vancouver promotions featuring delectable dishes like crab cakes with wasabi mayo, salmon with shrimp sauce and root vegetables, and a decadent cheesecake made with real vanilla bean and no fillers, all served with exceptional care from the dedicated server.
